Google pagerank no longer available

Postby niche » 30 Apr 2016, 01:46

In April 2016 Google has stopped displaying Page rank for domain names and websites. Has it affected your ability to make money from your website, especially for those selling text link ads, blog posts ? Were you monitoring your website page rank regularly ? Which SEO metrics do you use for your website?

Well if they has stopped it, it could mean that its not that relevant anymore, so I doubt its gonna affect much.

They stopped giving us a rank anyway, but I believe it still exists. It is invisible now to avoid Black Hat SEO.

Do members use other parameters like Moz DA or Majestic trust flow, or do they not monitor the seo parameters of their websites at all for selling advertising?

I don't pay any attention to SEO or Page Rank and I have just as much fun online.

I have noticed this last week when I did some cleaning on my blogs, but Google has stopped ranking websites for at least 2-3 years now. It has an affect on my blogs making money ability but then again, Google also penalized sites that paid for blog posts, so there is no way to make money on blogs nowadays.

Where can I find more info about them penalizing sites that pay for blog posts? That would suck for the sites as well as for people who sell "ghostwritten" blog posts.

Wow, thanks for answering a question I was just about to ask! You seem to know a lot about this subject; would you know why sites still seem to put so much emphasis on SEO even with all this going on? It's such a shame that things have only got harder for blogs! TIA

You can search for Google deindexing blog networks and many webmasters get warnings when they are purchasing text link ads. Google is brutal and ruthless in destroying competition to maintain its monopoly

@Angie10 I used to run 7 blogs, and made really good money. On my domain blogs I made 150-200 dollars per post, and I didn't have to write them. On my Blogspot blogs, the least I made was $30 a post. This was almost four years ago now and then suddenly all of my advertisers disappeared off the grid. I signed up with many middle man sites, and they sent me leads, I made 60% and they made 40% of the jobs I did. Then advertisers came to me straight and offered me the jobs, so I keep 100% of what I made. Those time is dead now!

@thisandthat The advertisers contacted me directly through emails and told me that. They asked me to removed their posts on my blogs. If they got penalized, so were my blogs. So it was best to remove the posts!
