I would imagine most hosts do have a late fee charge so it isn't really a big deal... especially as users should pay before the due date anywayoldbuddy wrote:If you do use them, make sure you keep the bill paid or they hit you with a $6 late charge.

I remember our late fee was 20% for clients. What's the $6 as a percentage of your bill?

Since the account cost $1.95 a month that's over 300% late fee and was enough for me to decide not to renew. In 15 years hosting hundreds of accounts, I have never had to pay a late fee when I was late (usually just an oversight), they just disabled the account until it was paid at the normal rate.

Credit card companies will charge you around $30 for being late.
The late fee is 10% or $5.99 (whichever is higher) This applies to any account services you have with us.

I don't object to your charging any fee you like, as long as I still have the right not to pay it. I think 300% is exorbitant for a $1.95 account and those considering one should be forewarned.

Many companies charge late fees. I think the issue is that the fee was three times as much as his payment would have been. How does that equal 10%? What am I missing?
