Social media account linked to a blog?

Postby niche » 21 Jun 2016, 04:11

Do you link your social media account to your blog? If yes, which social media account do you link to your blog? Does it improve the ranking

Facebook and Twitter both, don't know about ranking but it does get hits and visitors whenever an article is posted.

Is the traffic significant enough? I believe this may depend on the number of your followers? Is this compatible with Adsense T&C?

I linked Facebook, Twitter, and Google + to my blogs, but I don't see much traffic from them unless the post is something that a certain person can't resist to find out. All of these social media sites were designed so that the user doesn't have to leave their sites.

I actually dislike whenever I am prompted to link my blogs to my social media accounts. Mostly, they like to prompt you to link your facebook to them, and most of the time I do not want the people on my friends list to have access to my blogs.

Yep. I don't want my personal accounts connected to any of my "work stuff." I don't want friends and family to feel like I'm "spamming" them. I need to set up a separate FB account. Since I didn't already have a Twitter account or Google+, I made those just for my work stuff.

Yes I do. I have facebook and twitter linked with my blog. They both are good ways to generate regular traffic for our blog.

I use to link my Facebook and Google+ account with my personal blog. Anyway, when I opened a Facebook account I've done it especially to share there my online works.

I did that with Stumble Upon and I'm going to do a Pinterest one as well. Anything that doesn't have my personal info and family attached to it already. I like to feel as if I still have a little bit of privacy, even if that isn't exactly true.

I have used Google+ account to link up my blog. Since I am not on any other social media, the traffic generated is minimum.

I linked my Facebook and Twitter accounts to my blog. I haven't really find out if it improves the ranking or not. What I think if it does improve the ranking it's probably going to be very small.

I used my social media sites to share my online writings or blogs. On my Blogjob account, I have the super socializer so if I am using it, it is link already. On my individual blogging sites, I have not been writing for so long so I haven't done anything about sharing.

Social Media linking is always a good or say best option for your Blog promotion. If you have built your blog on services like Weebly, blogger, tumblr etc. you already have the option to link them to Facebook, twitter, gplus, pinterest, reddit, etc. however.. facebook, twitter and g+ are most preferable.

I have multiple FB accounts for this purpose. But there are times when I have no other way to contact the companies that I work for online, other than through FB, and so my friends and family see it when I post questions and queries.

Yes I linked a facebook account to the current blog but I created a new one especially for the blog so it will be more of professional. But the traffic, it depends on the post.

I'm guessing that super socializer is a plug in? So, it automatically posts your blog posts to your accounts as soon as you publish them? That sounds like a good tool. Thanks.

How do you make multiple FB accounts without them being linked to your personal one?

I know it really helps but I hold the same stance as you, thisnthat! I really don't want my Facebook page littered with all sorts of stuff relating to my online work, I prefer to keep them separate. I too feel like doing that, especially with Facebook, is ramming my stuff down people's throats. I'd rather do that with sites that I don't frequent as much, where my friends and family don't go at all.

I agree because linking our blog post on social media will have a chance to spread our blog and will have a chance to be viewed and read by people in the internet. The title is very important for this is the first one that the people will notice whenever they are seeing your links.

Yeah, it's definitely important. Dare I say, required these days. Promotion is a necessity. I hate it, lol.

My friends and family that I want to see my blogs or other work will read them anyway, so no need to splash it all over my personal page. I prefer that page for staying in touch with old friends and keeping up with people I don't get to see as often as I'd like to.
