Hosted emails

Postby remnant » 05 Sep 2016, 16:31

Hosted emails confer alot of benefits to users. They have quite a number of features which enable users to create a brand name but also market their websites by including the domain name of the website as the username in the email address. Is there anyone with experience with hosted emails here?

I use hosted email accounts, but I forward them to Gmail and answer with my hosted address as the return.

Since age is no longer creeping up on me, but rushing in like an NFL ball carrier on 4th down from the 1 yard line. it's very simple.

That's a good idea. I check my gmail more often, but seldom check my hosted email account. I should forward them to my gmail too. Thanks for sharing this great idea! ;)

I am not too sure about the functionality, but I just think it looks more professional with hosted emails. I might not trust a business so much when they are using gmail or yahoo mail. I saw some companies have their domain, but still use gmail or yahoo mail, I have no idea why.

I do have previous Google Apps account running on free plan. So for two domains I am going to keep it as it is. I may change the hosted email to my host. On my cpanel I do have horde and squirrelmail options. So I may use that if my Google apps account gets deactivated. I also am thinking of using the existing IMPA/POP with the gmail. I have no interest in using those outlook.com hosted mails as those plans are a bit expensive.

I also have hosted email account, but I rarely check it. I use gmail account daily. Maybe once a year I check my hosted email for things concerning my websites, or when I get notifications.

You make a good point. A hosted email looks more professional. It's simple enough to forward it to an account that you check regularly, so it's more convenient for you. You still get the professional appearance.

I think free email services just say "cheap" or even give the impression that a company is the "fly by night" sort.
