http://statcounter.com/ would be worth a look. They are free, unless you have a lot of traffic. Their stats are good and I was happy with them when I used them in the past.

Do you mind me asking why you want to use something other than Analytics?

A nice GA alternative. You've to host it on your own server.

I have used Statcounter in the past and I found them to be very good although unless you pay you don't get enough log space unless you have a quiet site.

But I'm looking for a free one, I was reading about piwik also, have you used it? It should be alright I guess? You're hosting it so no charges as well.

To be honest, I rarely log into my Google Analytics account since its configurations require a bit of minutes as opposed to satcounter and jetpack. In fact, I use Jetpack most of the time plus Webmaster for keywords.
