Postby ksridharprasad » 28 Nov 2014, 04:23

Hi Friends,

Since 4 months I am using Joxi screen shot application in my desk top, now it is not co-operating to take screen shots. Previously i have used Printscreen and Jet screen shot. Is there any other easy to use Screen shot applications, please share your experience.

The only screenshot software which I downloaded was Lightshot. Try it.
I'm not using it right now, as it seem to be slow. I prefer pressing 'Prt Scr' key and paste on Paint. It is better and easier. Well.. easier? Yes..

Screenshot? As in screenshot? Why you need to install application for that? You have that "print screen" button right?

I find Snipping Tool, Microsot Powerpoint Snipper, Microsoft Onenote snippers as the best options, why to use other tools, they are best

Hi yashrajkarthikey2,

Thanks for response, I have not used Microsoft Powerpoint snipper and One note snipper. How to use them can you explain me in detail if you do not have any objection.

As in: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Windows_3.0?

If you can install Lightshot, I'd do that. Plato was making a screenshot tool to be used with our image host but got distracted by the 10million other things that need doing. :P

I was thinking the same thing, but apparently that's not working well for him. I went to look around a bit and was surprised to find that a lot of people have tools for this. There is a bunch of different ones.

Anyway, @ksridharprasad, I found a really old article that talks about this, so I thought it might be helpful if your system is... a bit outdated. http://lifehacker.com/5218155/five-best ... ture-tools

Good luck.

i use prt sc button at the top of my keyboard beside the wifi button that is lit up, to the right of f12. i then open up a paint bitmap and paste it in for a whole page screen shot. this only prints the visible page that is on your screen, to get more you have to scroll down to get the rest. the other thing i use for parts of pages is the snipping tool from windows for smaller sections
