Hey Guys,

Are you using a CDN (Content Delivery Network) to speed up your sites? We were using MaxCDN on Imgy but at ~$80/TB I decided to look for a cheaper alternative now that we're switching domains. KeyCDN is $40/TB or $4 per 100GBs. It's pay-as you go and they offer 25GB free on signup.

Link is http://keycdn.com.

I suppose it could. Wordpress and other software have plugins which you can use though. Wordpress Total/Super Cache I think. :)

A CDN is a content delivery network. It can serve a couple of functions:
1. It can store media on a variety of Edge servers (around the world). This serves the content closer to the visitor so your site loads faster.
2. It can cache some of the static content and most used media on your website to serve it closer to your visitor which speeds up site loading time.

I mention KeyCDN.com in the OP but other alternatives are:
- MaxCDN.com
- OVH (https://www.ovh.co.uk/cdn/infrastructure/)

Yikes they are expensive to have. Well at the moment I don't have a website so I might not be needing them but as soon as I am done building mine, I will see if they might come in handy or not.

So that is one of the main reasons why a lot of site load faster for me compared to others. Thanks for the information mate.

I am hosting my website with Ezoic, and have cloudflare integrated. Before that, I was using cloudinary CDN though I migrated.
