I believe in SEO. I had did a little research on my website Cosmicgenius.blogspot.com but dont know how to build backlinks for them. Please guide how do we build or create backlinks which are Google Hummingbird safe

AFAIK Google Hummingbird is not about backlinks.
First of all, I'd recommend to only show an excerpt of blog posts on home page or Google might think, you've duplicate pages.

Best free ways to build backlinks are:
- Forum Signatures (even if they are nofollow, they do add some value)
- Blog Comments (even if they are nofollow, they do add some value)
- Web 2.0 Properties (Create subdomain sites on blogspot, weebly , jimdo etc... post 2-3 articles on them and link back to your money site)

Note:
Never create sitewide links(footer links, sidebar links).
Quality > Quantity
Diversify anchor text
Build both nofollow as well as dofollow links.
