TinyCent Account Suspended

Postby nakitakona » 10 Dec 2016, 12:54

I was shocked upon opening my TinyCent account awhile ago. I was prompted that TinyCent was suspended by its hosting provider. Then, what would happen to the posts of those members? Why is there no prior notice for such suspension?

I also got the same message. Luckily, I have withdrawn all my articles a few days ago. That site owes me $30.

The site owes me 35$. First 5$ and then second redemption of 30$. So it is kind of wasted indeed.

I think it was expected and has been done under a plan. The site owes me $85 as on date which am sure I will never get. (All my content is still available on another site launched by the same person)

I haven't been able to access the site for quite some time, I am not sure if it's blocked by my anti-virus program as I couldn't open the site even I turned off the anti-virus.

I haven't copy all my posts, but as suny said, I suppose all posts have been migrated to another site - gotmatter.

The website owner may not be able to pay the hosting bill due to low revenues, so he may have copied or sold the database

I am trying to retrieve my articles which have been transferred to another site probably managed/owned by the same owner of TinyCent. The said site hasn't paid me of latest cash out of $15. In that situation, TC has this time. There is now way that I could be paid. Well, everything would be charged to experience.

The only surprise to me is that this didn't happen a lot sooner. The unfortunate part is that everyone's content is still available at Gotmatter so they have no control over what's done with it.

I'm really grateful that Tinycent is one site I chose to stay away from. Their lack of meaningful terms of service seemed like a warning sign that the owner didn't know what he was doing and was a big factor in my decision.

Tinycent is again alive! How ...? Anyway, people won't use it anymore, I think.

Well, I'm not really surprised, but I am sorry. I feel bad for anyone who got burned by this site, especially if you weren't able to remove your content before it shut down. The fact that the content was moved to another site leaves me with a lot more questions...

Alive again? That's weird. Does that mean the owner did something to activate his account there?

Now I wonder how we can retrieve our contents from Gotmatter, though I don't think the owner has the right to just migrate our posts there like that.

It's good that you stay away from tinycent. I have no regret, though I think the owner still owes me more than $50, I have got $20 for my first two payments from him earlier. Another lesson learned. :)

I just opened my TinyCent account. Still the pop up message I received that there is still an issue about the Indian bank holidays. I get no clear or definite idea what is this all about. This alert message keeps on popping up every time you open or check you post. If the TC is unreliable as of this writing, I could still see several new posts being submitted and published online.

The account is back to normal mode with normal popup ads and people posting normally. I am not sure what is going on but trying to find a way to counter fraud activities.

I'm so glad I didn't get into this site too deeply. Has anyone been paid recently or has the owner been in touch to let members know what is going on?

Is there away to control its fraudulent activities? As I visited it recently, I also saw several posts submitted and published. I had no knowledge if they knew our predicament of bemoaning for our unpaid cash outs made. I would like to reiterate that those pestering alert message on Indian bank holidays was kept on popping up. We would surely glad if you find a solution to its unsatisfactory job and the victims be indemnified for their losses.

I can access my account just fine and I have earned $1.

The site looks so normal with no pop ups for me but lots of new posts.

Do they have a fb page because obviously we are missing that others have found and that's why they are posting confidently.

Same here! I actually think it did well to last as long as it did. Right from the outset, it just never held any appeal for me. I'm glad I steered well clear, but feel sorry for those who wasted their time and energy on the site, only for the owner to steal their material.

I head that tinycent is been bought by Gotmatter.com, I knew that the owner of tinycent was very friendly and promising person. He wouldn't bare the losses i feel.

I dono gotmatter is still inactive and tinycent as well.

Both sites are up and owned by the same person based at Bangalore. I think he is still in the process of transferring data from Tinycent to Gotmatter.
