Code for fun?

Postby jacktheking » 18 Feb 2015, 03:41

So, as a developer or website, do you code for fun - code but did not upload and make it online? For me, I do code random things sometime in PHP. I made a few small php project in my localhost. One of them is a faucet for Bitcoin. Another one is a Signature generator. What about you?

That's quite impressive actually, I think if one does code for fun, could really get good at it and polish the skills.
I wish I could manage some time to do that too, I do have many ideas but just not enough time to get into it.

I often code websites in HTML and CSS for fun. Occasionally I might even put a little flash in here and there. Right now I am learning Java so I have been playing around with that quite a bit.

As I mentioned somewhere else I am learning to code from Codecademy...right now I havent really written any scripts but eventually I will..I do have a plan to start up something really nice soon and would love to work as fast as possible. By the way Jack...would it be okay if I asked you for help on a certain website that I would like to build?

Hi Shririsha,

Depending on what you're looking for, you can enter in the search bar "PHP tutorial" for PHP,
"HTML tutorial" for HTML and same thing for other languages. If you want to lesrn specific things like creating s contact form in PHP, than enter "PHP contact Form tutorial".

You'll find everything you need !
Hope you'll success in coding :)

Good luck to everyone who wants to learn a coding language, it might be time consuming and brain squeezing ( or stressing ) but the great rewards are for you to reap! If you feel annoyed or loss the motivation tell yourself it will be worth it in the end! :D
