degoo backup

Postby shamzblueworld » 27 Feb 2015, 10:39

I've just singed up on degoo.com an online backup site, and they are giving 100 GB free on their free accounts. Good right? Has any of you heard about it before or are you using it already?
Well if not, you can get 2 GB extra if you join with my referral link, it will give me 2 GB extra too, :) https://degoo.com/g/ZE9cJPM

What you think?

You can trust them ! Already got a customer who talk to me about that. I would say that its long to get the backup (when you download them) but its a pretty good service !

I didn't get that, did you meant to say that its take a long time to upload your backup there?

Nop, the upload time is not that long (depending your internet connection), but when you want to download your backup from your user control panel.. Their servers are very slow !

Yeah, that's kind of annoying... Just try it too make a review over here, and I upload 1GB zip file and I download it after.

Upload time = 13 minutes
Download time = 1h01 (ridiculous)

Its a good website but sadly they don't offer food servers speed downloading.

That is awful, I guess I'll be skipping storing the big backup files there. May its best to use for images and documents.

Download and upload speeds do dramatically vary depending on your ISP and your location so it may not be the case for everyone.

Yes, you are right. But their servers are very slow. And they even alaready some of my customer, who were uploading big files, that the download time will be huge because of their servers low low low download speed.

Yep, Google Drive is probably one of the best option. I think you have 15GB of free storage, which is pretty cool ! Its little bit like Dropbox, which I think is the best of all.

No, they stay until you delete them yourself. Or remove your account I guess.

Or if the site suddenly shut down and boom, all your personal files and memories ( if you uploaded and reformatted your computer ) are gone  .
