Hi friends !

As some of you may know, I am a certified Web Developer in Québec, Canada.
I would like to know what is your favorite Web programming language ?

Mine is PHP ! With this language you can do anything ! From a simple contact form to a complex no-database blog, everything is possible !

PHP have a HTML start but some special thing are add to it.

You should really learn it !

If you really want to learn Web programming languages, learn HTML first then PHP !
A lot of HTML is present in PHP, so the new language, which would be PHP, will be much easier !

Oh great ! Be sure to learn HTML first. PHP look, in some case, similar to HTML. I am proud that you will learn that wonderful language which is probably the funniest too !

Javascript...I still got to learn a lot in it..meh its giving me a headache...anyways anyone here good at designing wordpress themes..something that can later on be easily customized without much experience...I want one done and I am having a really hard time with it...

I can help you ! I am a web developer ! Wordpress is pretty simple to use. To install themes directly from your Admin Panel, just go in Apparence --> Theme, search from a theme and install the one you like ! After that, Wordpress have done everything, you just need to write some blogs !

But if you are looking for Wordpress designing. I can't help you... Its PHP, which I can make easily, but Wordpress have a weird way to code themes and the Admin Panel, which I don't really like so I didn't learn it that much. They kind of change too much things in PHP.

Wordpress also limits you a lot, the more freedom on Wordpress ORG is a better choice but you have to look for resources or code it yourself. I did prefer blogger as it was a mix between the Wordpress.com and Wordpress.org. I am learning HTML and Javascript btw xD

Yes, Wordpress.ORG is a better choice thsn the .COM one, that is for sure ! Blogger is kind of not offering enough tools for developers...

No, there is two Wordpress option, Wordpress.com and .org... The .org version have more tools.

The Wordpress.org however only provide you the hosting ( I guess? ), and the domain, the rest you have to find it and implement it yourself. Wordpress.com is simpler and faster to get online, while Wordpress.org requires patience and time. However the rewards in the end are certainly better.

The .org version only provide the "software". Its a zip file which tou need to extract to your website. Need more patience thst is for sure. But as you said, at the end the rewards is better. The .com provide everything except more tools than the .org version.

As a web developer, its my own idea. Maybe someone will got another opinion and I want to hear what you think people !

PHP is the best language to learn after HTML ! Try to learn with Youtube tutorial and even written blogs. There is good quality tutorials which can make you learn pretty fast !
