Hey friends !

If you don't know what is Google Code. Then I am going to tell you ! Google Code is a website launch in 2006 and where developers could search and download source code of HTML, PHP and other web languages for free. It was pretty useful for people that want to discover the coding univers and very useful for Web Developer, as me !

I was using it kind a lot and I am disappointed of that closing. Google Code became to be less important project for Google when they announce the new platform Google Developer, which is awesome to use too.

But they decide to close Google Code because "Developers are not using it". The closing is expected to be on the 26th january 2016.

Go on http://code.google.com/ fast and discover some awesome projects that are available for free !

If you are a developer which was hosting project on Google Code, you can port them to Github or BitBucket.

We can say that, Google decide to close the platform because it was not used enough. Maybe its because of the popularity of Github. Github is better so no problem!

I my memories are good, when you fork a project on Github, its putting all on your repository. Its kind of a copy option.

I think you are right, but it was never required by me. But Indeed I think that Google Code was good option for all of us and its closure is sad.

So on google code you can download html for site and for free. This is quite good becouse i can download now html site and upload it on my server. So awesome man. Thanks for share.

ooooooh this is sad i have a lot of codes in Google codes now its close i think Google made a stupid decision ,cuz a lot of developers like to upload there codes in that app from google
