Crissic.net has informed me that my LA vps will be managed by BlueVM (they had sent me a previous email stating they were closing the location). Has this sort of thing ever happened to you when your host has sold or given clients to another host? Did it go well or badly?

I have an account in BlueVM and they are really good at their services and support. I don't think you have to worry about it.

I have seen a few negative reviews in terms of time taken for any form of support and for their lack of communication. Hopefully everything works out ok though.

BlueVM is a very nice host, I talk to the owner from time to time, he's doing really nice things over there, you should be in good hands.

I have had it happen before that a new company brought the hosting business. It went okay and the host continued. There were some changes to data centres ect but nothing that effected me badly.
