Skype for Web invites are send !

Postby JordanDD » 28 Mar 2015, 20:08

Hi ForumCoin community !

Are you using Skype on your PC or on your mobile phone ? If yes, you'll be happy to know that Skype are actually sending invitation to Developers to test their new online Skype software : Skype for Web !

Everything can be done on it as on the PC software.

You actually need to get an invitation from Microsoft and no one except them can send those.

This web-based will include video calls and text chat aswell !

When will it be release ? No one know except Microst, but they will probably not tell me...

Do you use Skype and are you excited about the web-based version of Skype that will be release soon (I hope) ?

It'll certainly be useful for me. I can then login to skype at Uni without having to bring my laptop. :)

No problems Ksridharprasad !

I would love to receive an invitation but there is only Microsoft than send them. A developer can't send one even if he receive one.

It does look interesting to me, Skype on Web. Of course you need a good RAM as the browser need to handle this and you know browser can consume a lot of RAM.

Skype on web would be a nice option to have. I usually have a lot of trouble trying to use Skype on a pc that I don't own...for example when I am in an internet cafe...usually the skype or other softwares aren't installed or updated there and it takes ages to update them.

If you can't run the original PC version, I don't think the web-based one will work :/

That's really great actually, I don't like to use its PC version so I'd really like this. Hopefully it comes out soon now.

When I say "The RAM level" I mean the amount of RAM available in the computer, which make your computer able to rum things at the same time. Some computers have a little and some others have huge amounts of RAM... That was what I mean by level of RAM

Yeah Jordandd and since I use a very old laptop so it doesn't really have much ram to run a lot of programs that I need to run. But a web based Skype would really be good in my opinion.
