My ideas:
1. Include Native advertising. Have businesses in your niche pay you to write an article about them.
2. Transform the content into an ebook. Make some additions. Sell it!
3. Create brandable t shirts and other products around your blog to sell.

Interesting ideas. However, I have some reservations about #2. Creating ebook from your website contents and selling the ebook through your own website can work, however, if you are publishing that ebook on the sites like Amazon Kindle, your book will be rejected as Amazon does not accept books having contents already available online.

But then the third tip as mentioned you may not be applicable to my blog as I am a numismatist and writing blogs on Specialized are of One Rupee Coin. My targeted readers are other numismatists who are very few and the proposal may not work for me! Thanks!

May be you could create T shirt designs with the facts about money. For instance, you can have a print that says "the first paper money was introduced by China"

#1 point is worth considering. If you have a blog about TV, you can approach a TV dealer and offer to review his products and publish on your blog. If your blog is about books you can publish sponsored reviews.

I like your ideas. They are very good well as they may need support from other alternative options. My ways include but not limited to all the above you mentioned, affiliate marketing eg promoting products sold on Amazon, display advertising say from Adsense and integrating WordAd pay per impression ads. This way will help you earn steady income which will help you manage the blog by paying its bills and also take something just for you.

native advertising might be a good option to monetize your website if your contents primarily caters to the local people. For instance a local news site can attract adverts from local businesses. However, if your website caters to global audience, you might not be able to benefit from native advertising.

Well from my blogs I make money from ads and my podcast for now. I get lots of views giving away free money. But overall I do want to start selling products on there once the site gets huge.

relying on ad networks is not the best way to monetizing your site, you need to sell your own adspace.

Earnings depend only on number of visitors. The organic visitors play a major role than social media traffic. If you website or blog is getting traffic some where in lakhs then you can make a descent income.

Does not matter where your traffic comes from, whether it is from searches, social or direct, what actually matters is whether the visitors interact with the ads or not. Traffic should convert.

Yeah adsense pays more if you get clicks.But even then if the clicks are not from USA or high paying counties. they will not be worth much at all.

Your ideas are great. But to be honest, I have content that is almost 5 years old. It's evergreen meaning that it's not time-sensitive. I have joined social blogging sites that pay me for my posts. I've started removing content from my blogs that has been sitting there for years and submitting them to the sites. Incredible the comments and likes I get. And I am earning too!

Which ad network are you using? I hear amazon also has a good CPM for their paid to view ads. Have you considered trying them out? Also, the geo location of your traffic matters when it comes to the much you can earn.
