Recommend cheap or free web CRM software?

Postby darrensurrey » 15 May 2015, 18:20

Would like to use as a database to examine orders with customisable fields eg if it's an order for a sofa, it might have fields such as colour, number of seats, cloth type.

Should be able to access in via the web to view or edit orders.

Thanks. :)

Actually, I don't know if CRM is what I really want. Any thoughts?

I'm not sure I understand your problem.

But, if I understood correctly, wordpress + woocommerce? Take a look at youtube to see if that's what you want

A CRM software is generally a little more advanced than a shopping cart, which is what you seem to want? Probably the easiest solution, as mentioned above is Wordpress + a shop plugin.

What exactly are you trying to make, out of curiosity?

Actually, it's probably easier if I just explain and then people tell me what I want. :D

As a side venture, I run parties. Each party is unique so needs a bit of planning from providing the venue to providing the food plus the timing and making a note of the staff.

I don't want a booking system as such but I guess in a way it is. It will be separate from the website, separate from any payment system and just something senior staff use to manage each project. In a way they are mini projects with specific fields: staff names, time, date, party theme, number of people, venue location. All these fields will vary.

As it's a new venture I would like it to be free but, of course as business picks up, I will be willing to pay.

At the moment I'm set on using: reallysimplesystems.com

It works on my PC but can also be accessed on my phone.
