Hello, can I ask a weird question? In the past, how many website or blog have you abandoned. Blogging and creating website's are both a very fun process, but to continue in 5 to 10 year's is kind of hard. If you haven't created any content in the past few months is not counted as, but more than one year is.

I have abandoned 2 blogs in the past. One is personal and one is public.

I've abandoned some sites, I've sold a lot more. I'm pretty proud of the fact that I started holderhost in July 2012 and had it grow into what it is today. Sticking with a site is the best path to success.

I agree, congratulations to you for having reached such feat. I would like to stick with one but some times I felt like I can't keep up.

I agree, sometimes following once a week is also hard if you don't have ideas.

I don't really follow any blogs to be honest.
I however am really active on allot of forums, and I never leave them actually unless the community itself goes to hell.
But I think in the past 13 years I joined about 7 communities where I'm active on 6 and only registered to receive giveaway notification from the 7th one :p

Let's see. I had a writing blog for a while and I deleted it after a week. My World of Warcraft blog is still live but I have not updated it in probably 2 years. I had a craft blog which I deleted too. So aside from my gaming one I only update my work at home one. I think I had another blog at some point but I forget why I left it.

i have a blog that i write somme electronic projet but i didn't have much time because of study so i have to abandonet it i hope i will have somme time to creat another blog cuz it's amazing for erning money

I think it has to be a combination of a good idea and something that actually interests you. Otherwise you're going to quit very quickly.

I already abandoned thousands of sites, Mostly those nasty PTC's that turned scam.

I abandoned two of my website because it was only for testing something and it was only about our mini store so yeah I guess there's no reason to continue that site because I learned what I have to learn already.

I started up a couple little blogs on blogger years ago. I left them behind, shortly thereafter. I wasn't making any money, and the people I saw who were making money, were doing stuff I wasn't willing to do. They had these little groups that would go around, hitting up each others pages, making comments, clicking ads... I was always told you're not supposed to do that, but it seemed like without doing it, things went nowhere. So, I just quit. I don't want to cheat to succeed. I'd rather not do it at all.

Things are different these days, but at the time, it seemed like it was one or the other.

Already abandoned them, but never closed my because even if you can make some money with advertising! Nor are the locks because as testing sites!

Me too, I only head on blogs when I have certain information to find. Otherwise I am actively participating in forums and discussions.
