Better WP Security

Postby paulojunior85 » 25 May 2015, 21:44

Security is never too and should be, as with everything in life, priority in our activities. To protect your blog, I want to present a very good plugin security, the Better WP Security!

This plugin is super easy to install, do not worry.

The Better WP Security plugin has two versions, free and paid. The free version is enough to protect your blog, then you simply do the search within your WordPress User Panel, install and activate the plugin, as it has done with so many others.

Hi,

I recommend that you do not leave your log in as "admin", as is standard and facilitates the work of people who have intention to do any harm. So try to use different logins and long passwords with numbers, letters and special characters. Not facilitate the work of those people who just want to hinder the work of others.

Once a WP blog has been hacked, it will be best to reinstall wordpress to prevent further problems . Using a wifi connection can be dangerous for accessing wp blog.

That's good advice. I always use crazy long passwords with letters, numbers, symbols, upper and lower case too. I started doing it a long time ago after an old website of mine was hacked years ago. I still do it now. The only problem is that I forget my password much more frequently, lol.

If you use a password manager like LastPass, it makes life so much easier. It generates complex passwords, stores them and enters them in for you. You can have better security but also not have the inconvenience of remembering them all or having an insecure txt files with them in on your desktop.

Cool. Thanks for the advice. I never gave password manage tools much thought. I just got in the habit of doing the long, drawn out ones. I probably don't have to bother any more with Kaspersky safe keyboard, but it's just kind of habit now.

WordPress Plugin iThemes Security (formerly Better WP Security) is still relevant when it comes to protecting WordPress websites from attacks and vulnerabilities. You need to simply install, configure and wait for automatic monitoring.
