It might not even be a "she." Do you know the person's real name? You could file some kind of complaint against the person, if you know the true identity. Also, if you met or hired this person through a particular website, I would contact that website as well. Let them know that you feel the person has scammed you. Maybe they will ban the person, at the very least. Sorry this happened to you.

Oh, another thought.. are you sure the writer scammed you and it wasn't just a case of someone copying and pasting her work off your site to use as their own? You should also be able to contact the site that's using the material and ask for it to be removed.

The cheater writer was not hired through a content writing website, the payment was made directly to her bank account , the details of which are known. If she had nothing to hide, she could have replied . The cheater nayanshree is a brahmin and due to casteism in india, brahmin cheaters like nayanshree are not punished

The writer nayanshree hathwar was honest initially and after one year, she resold the content and refused to reply. Allegedly some large companies in india like google, tata, have rewarded her for cheating, and promised to protect her. It was a payment within India and it is not possible to get a refund for NEFT transfer from a HDFC bank account.

It's really hard to recover it when you don't know the background of the writer. Authority can't you too if you don't know about her/his background then you have to say bye bye for your money already. Just be cautious next time. DON'T TRANSACT WITH STRANGERS AND ANONYMOUS ONE =)

The best thing to do I think is just remind those people who could be transacting with this kind of man. You could still sue him if you could see where he is. Karma is digital nowadays.

That is the problem with hiring someone direct. There are a lot of talented freelance writers around the world I wonder why you chose to go that route. The freelance agency will somehow protect you from such people for a minimal fee.
