Do you ever buy images or other media? If so, what are your best options for purchasing them?

Many people use free images or creative common license materials. Others make their own.

So far, I have used a couple of free images, but most of mine are photos that I took myself. Do you make your own?

Like, you just copied somebody's work and used it as your own? If so, I'll offer you some friendly advice: Doing that can get you into trouble. I've read about people being sued for using images without permission.

I dont buy any images , just get it from google images search

There are so much stock photos sites they are selling photos but there prices are not affordable for every one you can try to search via Google it will be good..

I usually retreat or the Internet or shoot my own photos, it is rare remove images from the Internet, because photographs taken by ace landscapes we are even more beautiful and more personal.

all is using existing pictures in their website ( maybe make some modification on them -remove logo ....-),

only buy logo and header image for website ; other for free

Yeah, I'd rather use my own as well to avoid such concerns. I'm playing around with making my own logo.

I have to say, I'm really quite surprised by some of the other responses. Taking other people's work to use as your own could get you in hot water, folks.

On my site, I use a lot of landscape photos that my dad took as backgrounds with titles for articles.

I also use pics from Corel Gallery (bought the discs years ago).

You dont have to buy images unless they are free from google. But you can hire or contact a design specialist for you to improve your websites. Another tip is, You can create your own media by just learning from youtube tutorials and installing some multimedia related software if you are the type of person who dont want to spend much money for it. If you hope to monetise your site, then you must use photos that you are allowed to make money from.

I don't buy imagines for my blog. I use my own or use a free stock photo website. Most of pictures though are payment proof snapshots so that is enough for that blog I think.

I saw a very good site photobucket you should try it it have a very good stock and quality of photos is also very good must try it

Thanks for the ideas for finding stock photos. I can get those if needed. I just prefer making my own.

I really hope that I am misunderstanding some of the people on this thread, and that they really aren't just copying any image or photo they want and violating copyrights.

I have ICT techer and he have image bank around 30000 images So I have it free.
