How to have a free narrator for videos

Postby yakuma » 10 Dec 2019, 10:01

Youtube no longer allows text based videos. This is a big problem for me since most of my videos are text based. So now I am looking for a free narrator. The narrator does not need to be human. It can be a computer just as long as it does not have a very obvious robotic voice.

Your own lips. Using softwares are not liked by people. No one subscribes to a Siri or Alexa. You can be terrible in the beginning but you will eventually improve. Look at the oldest videos of popular Youtubers.

I am not really good at narrating and I have seen some videos in youtube that are narrated by robots but are very human like. I hope I can use those kind of free apps.

People dont subscribe to robots though. Look at the first videos of popular Youtubers, they are terrible speakers but they improved. Look at me I am not ashamed of facecamming as an online English teacher and I hate my looks.

You need to search those good apps at play store or from anywhere else. Most of the apps are not free if you want to listen to a less robotic voice. I wanted one too, but till now I haven't found any worth keeping, all the other voice apps doesn't have that quality in them.

That's why I advise people to just use their real voice because if you talk everyday, you will eventually improve.

The free applications that I have found were also not good. They had very robotic voices or very few selections.

What a bummer! I've only ever made one video and it was a text based video.

Mic skill is something everyone should learn as it makes money and can make you rich. Its not Youtube that hates the bots its the potential subscribers.

Sad that YouTube no more supports text based videos. They are not wrong. Video making business model have long evolved.

But finding a free narrator is not easy. Unless you are busy with self promoting OR have some friends who are happy to do that, there isn't a known way to have a human to narrate stuff for free.

You can hire someone on websites like Fiverr to narrate your video BUT that is not free. You will have to pay certain bucks.

The best way now is self promotion. As the saying goes - Among 100 a warrior is born, among 1000 a wise and an orator - once in 10,000. It is really difficult for everyone to be an orator. Making a video is one thing, narrating it is another. Promotion of the same (it is this step which actually pays) is the next level.

However, with practice you develop communication skills. If you can't do that yourself nor finding some friends to do so, then better opt for paid methods. Unfortunately, there is no free lunch.

Voice narrators might demand quite a big prize for doing your work. So free apps would be good, but every other voice apps isn't free at all. Most of them are free only for trial purpose, later on we have to buy that thing up.

They are not good, they sounded like robots. Its better to do the narration yourself.

Have you tried putting on a British voice? Call it acting, because that's what it is. I recall a language teacher saying that if you pretend to be the foreign person for the language you're learning, it will feel easier.

well for one thing you can ask somebody to narrate for you and pay with forum coin. I agree the british voice is the best voice it almost sounds natural. I wish I could narrate that's a great skill to have. But I don't have a quiet place to practice so that's not something I'm gonna do.

I know you are working on making money on video's I hope you do well with that I also am into that I did not know you cannot post text videos anymore.

Youtube not allowing text based videos is sort of an unspoken rule. They do not allow it even if it is not in their policies.

Youtube and other videos allow subtitles, but not all videos have; there should be change too because many videos with subs have wrong time for subs. I was trying to find the way to arrange it.

There are many software with very advanced narration nowadays that you can try out. Or well, the easiest one still is copy-pasting all your text onto google translate and click the speaker icon for the narration of the text you entered.

Thst is a good suggestion. But google translate has a very robotic voice. Viewers get annoyed by robotic voices.
