Every website should have defined meta tag call keywords. It is part of head in HTML. That tag helps Google and other search engines to rank your site.
I wonder what is optimal number of keywords into meta tag? I think to much of it is not bad but also just to or three is bad to.

Yes I saw that to. There is suggestion in charachters lenght, but in that case if keywords are short, it is possible more and with long tails keywords much less.

It is good article and they recomend 10 keywords but I think many webmasters use it much more.

All I really know about that is that, it's probably best if you don't use more than 10, as that is the general rule..

I can't believe how ignorant I am. I have been using the Blogspot platform for years and I just realized there is a feature called "Search Description" and you can customize it for each blog post. That description shows up as a Meta Description and makes it easier for search engines to find your blog. People can do organic searches and likely find your site. The Meta tags (or keywords) and meta descriptions will both send more traffic. So now, from time to time, I review some of my popular posts and write a Search Description using that Blogspot feature.

Some sites suggest 5 to 10 keywords. However, some folks use more number of keywords as well. I think you might need to use some tool to monitor what is the optimal for your own personal case.

I really don't like it. I don't see any added benefits or features. But somebody earned a paycheck while they worked on it. It's the same thing with Facebook. I don't see where their new layout is all that great! But somebody got paid to do it. I wish people would just leave things alone. Both Facebook and Blogger changed their platforms when there was nothing wrong with the old platforms.

I only have complain in analytics part. Before we could see more data and it was better organized. Now they all time suggest use Google Analytics tool.

I added an extension to my Chrome browser that recommends keyword phrases. I'm surprised at how far off I am from what a person searches for.

You can just search with this term in Yahoo or Google or Bing or any search engine: most search keywords;
Or you can visit WordStream that can do the job for you.
