I use Google analytics and Facebook pixels, though Google gives a more detailed breakdown of website visitors

You install a pixel on your website, then it can tell you people who visit your site or select pages you want to know about, like add to cart or purchase

Yes it is, but you must have a Facebook business account, you can also use a plugin, I used one called pixel my site

I use Exact Metrics on my WordPress site. The free version has limitations still I find it quite useful.

For someone who owns just a blog I think Google analytics give me all the data that I want.

If you have a website, create google analytics account and submit your website. By doing so you can see ho visited you website, what device they used, what browser they used, etc.

I use Google analytics for anything about on-site data but then I also have Facebook pixel for other analytics and tracking.

I only know of google analytics, never heard about FB pixels before for tracking website activities. Its always nice to see more plugin to track regular visitors in an advance way surfacing.

I just run a basic site and to be honest I just use Google analytics alone because it has almost every metric I want to track
