Reseller Hosting

Postby Mika » 28 May 2021, 08:58

Reseller hosting is a program where you sell hosting packages without actually owning servers or managing servers. You enroll in a reseller program, and start selling hosting packages from your own website. Has anyone here tried reseller hosting business.

I thought about trying my hands on it, but realized that managing these things are going to be nothing but a pain.. so it's not easy.

Not at all if you have the right hosting company. I have been a reseller for decades and the best part is I can host all the personal sites I want for free. My hosting customers more than pay for my server for all of us.

Hosting is really a big business if you have a network like forumcoin. You can't attract big companies though you can attract small medium business.

You need to sell at least a dozen accounts in order to sustain your business and if you can sell more than a dozen accounts, you will be on profitable side.

It sounds like a great business idea and one could make decent money from it.

I don't know where you get your figures, but I have one account that more than pays for itself and all of my own sites ride free.

My figures are based on the reseller hosting packages on Namecheap. The basic reseller hosting cost $20 per month and you get 25 hosting accounts.
