Right now there is a controversy with the Subreddit of "the Bachelor and Bachelorette" franchise. Yes the reality shows where people compete for love.
Bachelor was originally a show where 30 women compete for the love of one rich man but lately instead of a rich man, Women compete for a popular Bachelorette contestant.
Bachelorette is a contest where men compete for the love of a woman who was a fan favorite contestant in Bachelor.
This reality show have a big fanbase and it has been around for decades. Anyway the founder and owner of the Bachelor Subreddit was kicked out of an admin position by a moderator. She created the subreddit for 9 years and one of his mods have taken over the forum without her permission. There is a power struggle and the moderator won from the support of Reddit. The admin was demoted into a regular member. Forum owners need to make sure that no matter what, they will always have control of their moderators. I want to make a subreddit before but the fact the admin role can be stolen from me by a mod is scary.
