Monopoly for real money?

Postby Masterminor » 09 Jun 2015, 07:02

What if there was an online monopoly game where for every $100 monopoly money you earned you earn $1 when the game was over and you won? is there already such a game? I as a champion (of my house at least) would love that. I don't care how many ads I would have to watch if I could win money with my favorite game. Does anyone else agree?

So if you have enough money to run your own project, it´s probably a good idea how to make money, but you need a good managment and skills to code that.

I played monopoly once online ( long time ago ) but was in one those sites with slots and scratch cards. Was basic, i think you only throw the dice so have nothing to do with skills , only luck

It's also strategy, you have to be smart with how you manage your money, properties, houses and hotels, etc. True luck has a factor, it always does, but it's not always the deciding factor. If you play smart you can get yourself out of virtually almost any situation.

I have never heard about a game like that. It would be a good thing though. However, I think a game like that can be supported only by ads. People should pay like an enter fee so that the game makers could get some money.

I think in order to make money from monopoly you need to have a good advertisement websites plus the traffic and the players of course. Designs must be considered too.

Hey,

I don't know if this already exists, but this in an awesome idea to make an ad network like this. You can set even higher rates like $1000/$1. You can contact indie and casual game devs and offer your ads for a better price once you have enough traffic.
Also, you don't have to code anything, some coders at fiverr charge $10 to create a full functional website. This is a very good method to earn money and you already have the income to start: the money you are making here.

Hint: I know this is an open forum and the community is nice, but be careful when sharing ideas like this. If you were in other foruns, people would be using your idea tomorrow and you would start with competition! :D

Well I think 1,000 is a bit unreasonable. But I put this idea out there for the exact purpose that someone use it. I'd destroy at that game, play for hours, and make my own money.

The one i played online was just throw the dice , you dont buy houses etc, so just luck without the strategic management part

Anyone who says Monopoly is just "throwing dice" Should play the version on Pogo. Pogo has actual Classic Monopoly. And Monopoly World Edition which you can play against other players on, instead of the cpu.

There's nothing complicated implementing and developing this game actually one of my I.T. friend are planning to make similar game like monopoly but I don't know if he'll let his players earn from it. It's really hard to find a game that you will enjoy and earn at the same time lol!
