WebHosts don't always get it right. What are some annoying things hosts that you've used have done?

I have special requirements for my file host: http://fileze.net when choosing a VPS. While I don't condone/ permit the sharing of illegal files I cannot guarantee it won't happen. Some VPS providers will terminate your VPS on a DMCA complaint. I just simply ask that they pass it onto me and I will immediately deal with it and remove the offending content (dmca complaints should really go to the site owner first anyway but there have been instances when this hasn't happened). I purchased a VPS from a provider not knowing their exact policy. In the order form and in a ticket afterward I stated my situation and requirements and said if this isn't allowed on your host please cancel and refund the order. It wasn't allowed - they would terminate the whole vps on a complaint- and they didn't cancel or refund. Very frustrating.

One host tried to scam me so I could pay to 'bypass' their TOS, and another closed down without notice. :/
