I want to make a website like this one...

Postby lludawg » 12 Jun 2015, 03:26

I am interesting in making a website kind of like this one. Does anyone know what type of coding is being used? I know more about creating forums than websites.

CSS Background image? http://www.w3schools.com/cssref/pr_background-image.asp. You'd just need the gif.

So I am guessing it is quite easy? Haha.

New question. I want to create a similar website but instead of the dog, I want a player that plays a video for 10 seconds and then switches to another video and so on, forever. Like, I want to be able to pre-upload like 50 videos. A video plays for 10 seconds, and then switches to another random video, plays for 10 seconds, and continues forever.

This is done in SWF format uses Adobe Macromedia that is more properly flash animations.
You need to create animation by Macromedia and make a total iframe on your website.

that's not too hard lol all what you need is a gif picture and link it with some CSS codes and u'll get exactly something like that, but what's the gain lol you'll not earn anything from it

I'd say it's in flash! Should not be too hard to do ... it's an interesting idea. :)

To make a similar website, you need to know the CMS used, and the theme they use. There you can easily create one that is very similar to the one you love.
