I am not kidding, two members of one of my forums got in a heated debate and their fight became 10 pages long and the ad rate and click rate of that site improved.I remember Mylot highly encourages debates and difference in opinions. I think it is the corrupted reason why Facebook is not banning fake news spreaders because when people try to fight these trolls they make more money. The Utopia/Kumbaya type of forums don't make as much money as forums where people have polarizing opinions. I don't really like toxic people but they bring money because their controversy makes people reply more.

I believe you. People tend to show more interest in an ongoing heated discussion. They'll keep coming back to see how each party defends his position especially when the debaters are good with their comeback. Sometimes the spectators even share the story to other platforns where more people get involved. The more exposure, all the better for your site.

That is truth, even negative promotion is a promotion. I too have done such heated discussion on religion, politics, economic posts. And later understood.

Usually when they can keep a conversation going that long without getting personal you won't have to worry. I don't blame you for not bothering them. Let them have their talk. After all, you are benefitting from it.

It is a good idea/suggestion. However, fun or no fun, I think no fight is required. What we need is to just understand and accept other's point of view. After all, everyone has their opinion and no one is perfect.

Fights and controversies can bring a lot of views on your site, when you are using CPM ads, you will earn well. Even for CPC ads, you might get more clicks because your site is getting more views.

Normally I will only edit such posts (removing such words) and send them warning (warning too needs to be in proper manner, so they should continue without using some F word.

This is why controversial newe and sites sales more. people are always there to argue and fight and the rating will be high. So I really understand you here but I also don't like toxic people they can be very annoying.

There are more reasons but main team semaine money.
If owner decide people not to fight over any issue, then any party 9f the discussion will claim that there was no freedom of expression, and owner favour other party.
Yet owner favour money.
