I go to Wikipedia because it usually shows up in the search results. However, there have been times when Wikipedia and Quora both show up on the first page of results. I go to both links. I am happy with that because most of the time I get the answers I was looking for in both places.

I'd say as long as your goal is to earn out of it. I would go for quora as it has option to earn out of it and is pretty good at that too.

That's true, but, it is not easy. I have posted some articles on its spaces, nothing has come. Similarly, its 'paying' for the questioners, is not an open option, which I don't like.

Wikipedia for me

The information is more comprehensive and organized

However, Quora is nice for getting the perspectives of different people

I am thinking about making use of the question and answers and spaces to monetize but yet not much success on that front so let's wait and see the same.

I listen than Quora is paying but I never meet with a person who are earning with it.

So did I. They invited me to participate in their payment program. I was supposed to earn for providing answers to various questions. I earned but not much. After a while I gave up.

Even Wikipedia is not paying, these two cannot be used to make money, but they can be used to promote something. People always do.

Quora has a lot of manipulated content too. I mean most of the left leaning content is there on quora and wikipedia too. We have seen as well.

All online revenue sharing sites and forums are like that only. They are generous ;) in paying their user members.

I think in near future a lot of people would be going through content and in that context quora has a good chance too. I hope I get to make use of the monetization features for it.

In the future, digital era might take over, so multiple content writing sites will compete with each other, Quora is already established. I just come reading some good and mixed posts in Quora.

It has mixed information like wikipedia. Like a lot of wikipedia is manipulated heavily and damaged with the real information which is bad thing.

Both are still useful for many people, simple general knowledge like lists of UK monarchs, US president, India Prime Ministers etc are still correct in Wikipedia; general info is available in Quora.
