Whatsapp - advantages and disadvantages

Postby raaman » 22 Mar 2022, 12:53

Nowadays, whether it is necessary or not, everyone has a mobile. In that, invariably, 'WhatsApp' will be there. And, if you happen to oversee anyone with a mobile as to what they are doing, it will be scrolling 'WhatsApp' messages. People constantly thumping up and down on 'WhatsApp' messages. So, my question is, has 'WhatsApp' been advantageous to you? If so, how? And, do you think there are disadvantages too in 'WhatsApp'?

I have got couple consultant calls through whatsapp and it has helped me on that front as well. I think it's good to have that in that case.

It's not disadvantage, but as an app, it's limits; apps are not really for pcs.

One of the disadvantages could be the unneccesary messages that we receive. Yes we can block or mute them but we cannot block or mute everyone.

Whatsapp is an app where user uses it to communicate with others. Be it video call, boice call, record messages or text messages. It is convenient but takes up a lot of space. Need to delete the images every 3 months. Otherwise my phone slag

I don't think I have noticed any disadvantage apart from the usual notification messages that disturbs one every now and then. But I think it is one app that one can easily send and receive message without hassles

Every app does have Advantages and disadvantages but we need to focus on Advantages only and ignore the disadvantages like these days I ignore the disadvantages of telegram as for Whatsapp it's advantage is superior video quality on calls etc

I like how easy it is to chat and share photos, but the privacy stuff still bothers me. I just try to limit what I share and adjust my settings whenever I can.

Whatsapp makes it easier for people to connect, but most people have started abusing it, using it to scam others and so on.

While it’s good for connecting, we just need to be careful about how we use it.

The main advantage is that calls are free but the memory gets clogged with loads of shares and that is the disadvantage

Yes. Unnecessary messages are a big nuisance on WhatsApp, and clearing/deleting them is another big headache.
