Ginger for grammar

Postby raaman » 23 Mar 2022, 07:23

I am using ginger for grammar checking. In the beginning, it used to show up both on the internet (that is on the sites I was working, and also on MS word, where I used to prepare my drafts. Now, it has stopped showing on Ms word. What could be the reason? How can I make it show up again on MS word too? If anyone knows about it, they may please share it here.

Thank you for your response. However, it does not answer my problem. I want to know how to make the ginger again show up on MS word.

Reinstall the MS Word plugin. You may have to reinstall as it is not appearing and find settings in word to enable it if it is already disabled or something.

My mother and elder brother are fluent in both US and British English; I don't need to check other places; however I cannot ask them for every post / article, for now I am using online tools, but not ginger yet.

That's a good thing you are doing. By the way, can you please spell out the names of those online tools for the benefit of others?

I was not aware of this Ginger and was just using Grammarly free version and at times it does help as it can correct or highlight certain errors in our content, I hope you already got your issue sorted out

Our friend @skysnap have given a suggestion. However, I am yet to try that, due to paucity of time.

I just checked it, the software is simple to use, but you cannot use it for more than 300 characters.

Good suggestion. I find both of them useful. Thank you for introducing them here.

Free version has the character limits. You don't have that problem with paid versions. Grammarly is better on that context if you do things right.

In the shopping side shopee, some people are selling their grammarly passwords for 2 dollars. But you must promise you wont change their password since they are taking a risk sharing their passwords to you.

One good feature of the grammarly is that the service for various content management work is kind of good as well. that is what I have noticed.
