Wordpress has been changed over the years. Block editor is a new thing that is coming out in the market. In near future I feel that blocks and the block editor would be powering most of the blogs. So something new to learn there.

Have you used block editor on your blog or website?

Block Editor will basically give you an idea what your article will look like once you publish it. I still prefer the classic mode because its easier to navigate and it loads faster.

I agree classic editor seems to load lot quicker and also easy to work around on. Block editor is modern and minimal but loads slow on limited internet.

Someone advised me that if I will use block editor, I should be all text first. I should add pictures and videos in the end so I wont have the loading issues.

Yeah pictures make loading up a page very slow. Loading up videos or pictures you want to use on the page later will help quicken the uploading process.

I also think that new themes have block support and gutenberg support so old themes tend to get things slow so today modern themes need to be used.

I'm sure the "new" editor is great but I absolutely hate it. I prefer the classic editor and I'm glad that we can still use it by installing the addon for it. The new one just seems a bit too difficult to navigate but I guess that's because I didn't actually spend too much time on it

They are also making the block editor designer which is for designing the website and page. I hope to try them out in near future.
