I use wordpress for blogging but it can be fun to use the word processor like google docs and then use that for wordpress blog. There are some of the tools and the plugins that can use it and we can publish directly.

I recently found few tools that does it. wordable being one of them. You can check the tool here.

I had tried google docs, it is not user friendly compare to wordpress and ms word. I prefer to type my notes in ms word and then paste into wordpress.

Google docs and word are in same category but WordPress is not that category it is for blog.
