Postby JASPREET » 23 May 2022, 08:02

Digi Locker is an Initiative from the Indian Government and it's an App in which we can store our Government id Proofs and other relevant documents Securely and safely. I am yet to try this app but I like to know if you have tried any such app?

It's in India I guess so that's why but I think there are so many other related apps available to store such information and some are chargeable too

Government of India is promoting it and wanting people to use it so I feel it's a safe option.

We need to find if these apps are secure and their is no way that these can be hacked by some data stealers.

You're creating threads based on india specific things. Digilocker is not for non indians. Same like how we have UPI, though UPI is now in indonesia, malaysia and russia but still some are india specific things.

Russia also accepted UPI, not a surprise now, friendly with INR too.
But yes Digilocker is a citizen thing.

It's an Indian app and since it's good the government can launch it in other countries and can start from Russia and its other friendly countries
