I do not use this but it seems good. I use rapid tags for my videos but I am not sure if it will work for google

I don't use Google keyword planner. Are keywords better for blogs than forums? It used to be that keywords were prime for metatags but I don't think those are relevant anymore.

Keywords are good for getting traffic, be it forum, blogs or webssite. you want traffic, you chase keywords specific to your topic.
