I notice that new changes in firefox makes it harder for analytics tools to record the visits. It kind of make the SEO efforts useless too. I wonder how it would work out in near future.

Do you think such protection tools are good or bad?

For the most part, the protections they add and fix into the browser, does help with making sure nothing gets passed on that I don't want passed on. It's the issues I see with people adding their information to websites that seem a bit sketchy, that causes some of the issues to come about.
