I have been experimenting with the WordPress for some time now. I realized that newsletter glue is one new plugin that one can ue on WordPress, It's a good plugin that you can try out for sending and accepting the newsletter to the blog.

Yeah thread was made in June.. so time does have it's effect on these things. I suppose some plugins fall out eventually.

It may be due to the arrival of Gutenberg block editors. Most of the old plugins discontinued updating their plugins.
