Have you ever experience the wordpress rollback update issue? Like you tried update and it failed and now everything looks white screen? It happened to me plenty of times and now the new plugin is being created on this point and may release in near future.

I have tried the Rollback plugin when the site is active for example when I want to use a old version. But when screen is blank, you must deactivate from the host cPanel.
