I am trying to get some views on some of my views which would need the reddit traffic. I am not yet sure if just posting to the reddit would solve easily or I should consider making use of specific subreddit.

Have you been getting any traffic to the blog from reddit? What is your experience?

Subreddit means community

People who wants to learn about stocks goes to r/wallstreetbets
People who loves to share recipes goes to r/cooking
Fans of Stranger Things Netflix show goes to r/strangerthings

Reddit is basically a universal forum. You only need 1 account to join thousands of communities or even make your own community. Every niche have a subreddit, I never find it as a good place to promote a blog. Most admins see it as spamming, Unless you are the admin of that subreddit

Reddit is a Universal forum. Every country has their own subreddit, every pop culture fandom have their own subreddit etc. It is the forum that killed all forums since only 1 account for thousands of communities,

You should be a Reddit ambassador. Even though I really don't like the forum, if someone was listening to only you, they would go and sign up! The various subreddits and only 1 account? That is the feature that really makes Reddit a great forum site.

I got some of the traffic to the youtube videos through reddit. But the traffic is not regular. It is like once a day every time I post in subreddit.

I think the traffic from Reddit alone can't be enough to monetize your blog. Unless you try alternative advertising and marketing agents of your blog.
