Learning SEO for free

Postby Treborika » 14 Nov 2022, 07:00

So I would like to engage my self in SEO article writing in the near future but I absolutely have no idea to go about it and I would like to learn. However I would like to get to know the best online courses that I can use to learn SEO.

Google and YouTube can help you zero in on some to test, but keep in mind that there are more courses than you will have time to look at, so don't give up in frustration. Also, every one you find will tell you they are the best to get your money, so search for outside proof.

Working on a New Side-Hustle

Since age is no longer creeping up on me, but rushing in like an NFL ball carrier on 4th down from the 1 yard line. it's very simple.

Visit Alison, it is just like Udemy but you do not have to pay for any courses.

Thank you for your advice.
I would definitely check it. I am also planning to learn about SEO and was looking for a good authentic source that is free. Google and YouTube bombards us with so many options. It gets too overwhelming and confusing.

A lot of it is just common sense using carefully chosen keywords.

I was told back in 2007 that to rank high for a keyword it should be a .com domain name (for which my username was already taken) so I set out to try an experiement to rank for a .info instead. The reason was I used a Forum that did not allow referral links to be posted and I wanted people on that Forum to be able to find me outside the Forum. I used common strategies like YouTube Keywords and Transcript, file names, folder names, etc and in a few days a search for my username was #1 on Google. It was a simple matter for me to drop hints for people to search for it and it worked. The interesting point to me was I just did a search for the same username all these years later and it was still #2 on the first page of Google.

That's very true. Even though you can find free resources through google and youtube, it is difficult to find a step by step tutorial.

Thanks for the tip, it looks interesting and seems to have a good range of IT courses. Have you done any of their courses? How would you rate the quality of the courses?

The most valuable course for this Forum Population I saw was US Citzenship Preparation.
Not sure how much good a course on Microsoft Word 2003 will do anyone 10 years later?

I have done multiple courses on Alison, some of the courses I have done are related to social media marketing, and SEO.
