Hello everyone!
I am planning to create a website and would like to know your opinion about the different software to create a website (HTML). I do not understand programming, so I need to be an easy software ... also I do not think using wordpress.
What software do you advise and why?

Actually Joomla is a framework not a software. I have heard of it already but haven't tried using it. If you want a software that's easy to use, use Adobe Dreamweaver. I use notepad++ and filezilla for creating webpages. And Dreamweaver just rarely

An easy WYSIWYG software that you can use to make websites is Microsoft Frontpage.

You can use Kompozer aswell.

If you have any other questions just ask.

well I don't think it is a good idea to make a website using software, use pre-made scriptes like joomla or wordpress, they are good, easy for SEO and you can use diffirent themes to make them really sexy !

I love Wordpress because there are a lot of themes to choose from. There are also so many different plugins you can use to customize your entire site. Lastly, Wordpress has a great support community. If you don't know how to do something in Wordpress, chances are, there is someone who can help you.

I'm thinking of creating a project friend, just do not want to do it yourself, I have few ideas, I've had a tv site but it was a lot of work just for me, but i had good earnings with ads, and visits.

i'd suggest wix.com my friend. it is the most user friendly website creator i saw. even you do not know website codings(like me) i am very sure you can create one using this site.

For html only, why not just making it using notepad or a textsoftware that checks errors?

I've seen Wordpress used for blogs, niche sites, galleries, wallpaper sites, membership portals, eCommerce stores, the frontend for webhosts. It is bulky but it is a fantastic piece of software.
