The social media engagement has reduced significantly

Postby Treborika » 16 Mar 2023, 18:18

According to the reports, it is evident that the engagement on the social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, tiktok has reduced drastically. What do you think.

I think it would be the figure of engagement per user.
It could be true as we have seen for our YT channel.
The last two to three months have been especially disappointing.

Remind me: is "engagement" like 'answering the call-to-action' (go buy a product, or put their name on an email-list, etc.)?

I have not read any such report and so can't comment with surety as to what actually it says. I still find many people spending a lot of time there on various social media platforms. It was never my thing. Some of my friends who were very active earlier on social media platforms have started staying away from them. They find it addictive and they feel that they have wasted a lot of time there.

That is a good response;

I wanted to give it a Good Reputation-point; but I've read too many good responses, and have given too many Good Reputation points ... I have questions about those, but will probably find the answers in a different section.

Yes of course. Nowadays the Facebook faces a stiff competition from other social networks.

How so? If someone tells you, "Look at my profile online," do you look anywhere other than Facebook?
