I think the thing was created mainly for the youths. The app is flooded by the youth and the type of content being posted there appears to belong to them.

I think the tiktok app itself encourages the young people to easily post on there as short as 30 min videos which is very simple to make.

The youth appear to find Tiktok to be more atractive than other social media platforms because Tiktok works extremely well on smartphones. Given that majority of the youth prefer to use smartphones, as opposed to PCs, Titktok is the number one platform for them.
