what do you think people like using different usernames in various earning websites?

I only use two different usernames but are both very similar, otherwise, I would forget about them. I think if we use the same username it is easier to identify us online while if you use several the activity online is more anonymous.

I have performed the tasks advised by @oldbuddy.
After entering my FC username on google, the search results that I got on the first page had my username on the fourth entry.
Upon entering oldbuddy's username, I did not however get his username on the first page of the search results.

I am however dumbfounded as to the purpose of this experiment.
Perhaps oldbuddy can clarify.

I have a few different usernames but it was for different projects I was doing at certain times. Now I just use a couple of them and won't be adding any new ones to the bunch. It is hard enough to keep track of the ones I have now

I don't know why people are using different username across multiple platforms but I use the same name because I can be easily identified. I even use the same profile picture.

I think the difference in using the same or different usernames across the platforms is the same.

If a Hacker discovers you have the same username in every website, You are an easy target for hacking, specially if you have the same passwords too

It has happened to me when someone stole my phone. He just went ahead to search enter the username on all forums and change the passwords.

True. People who make the mistake of using the same username on different forum sites and the same password are easy prey for hackers.
I must however clarify that this is not the reason why I have adopted a policy of not using the same username across the forums I frequent.
