I run a small website, I use a plugin called Wordfence that does pretty well in informing about the visitor's behavior on my website. I also use SSL from Lets Encrypt.

I make sure to use Google Search console to check the performances of my content.

Make sure that you monitor site logs as possibly as you can to check out malicious activities. Also, regular backup of possible daily should be a priority.
