I don't spend a lot of time on my blog. I make a blog post and then it goes to my subscribers. Then If I get an idea about adding something to my blog, I add it to my blog pages. I am always adding things to my blog and hopefully it gets more traffic as I make it bigger

It actually depends on the level of activities on your site. If it is high, you would need to spend more time on the site everyday.

It would not be out of place to spend 2 hours on your own site. I understand that some site owners are full time workers elsewhere but 30 minutes daily is okay for the health of the site.

Only a few hours depending on what I am to do on the site. Sometimes I want to publish newer posts like 2 which means long hours while on some other time I simply want to edit meaning a few minutes.

You don't have to be actively on the site to write. You can be writing on the go and go on your site to publish when you are done.
