FRAPS, I believe, is one of the best to record videos with. At $37, it seems pretty expensive, but if you're serious, it's an amazing piece of software that works very well. There's no nonsense, just an fps counter in the corner of your screen, and then hotkeys to either capture video or take a screenshot. The FPS counter doesn't show in the actual video either. It can also record voice, so you can narrate your videos as you play. Here's the website if you're interested: http://www.fraps.com/
Camtasia is another good software, it can record your screen, and it is also a video editor; even if you don't want big edits, it can add some polish to your videos. It's actually pretty expensive, but it's incredibly easy to use. Their website is here: https://www.techsmith.com/camtasia.html

My Macbook came with Quicktime and you can use it to record the screen. I think you can download it for Windows for free as well.

Apple Software, especially on Windows, is really bad and OP should avoid it, especially for doing things like Gaming. There are a ton of superior alternatives to Quicktime and iTunes, and virtually no reason to not just use those.

Go for bandicam, they just have same output of record (Depends on your setup), but the difference of bandicam to fraps, bandicam doesn't get much of your FPS so you can enjoy playing, in the same time the output file of your record is not much large as what Fraps does.

I'm using bandicam and I feel good to it, I also tried fraps before but I prefer bandicam.
In video editing i'm using Power Director 11, then after editing I upload my video's to youtube.. If you want to fasten the uploading in youtube, you should try they called Handbreak, it compress the file to make the file less size than the original but it still has same output as original.

Try bandicam :) you can youtube and compare Bandicam Vs Fraps, and you'll see there's no much difference in quality of video's but there's huge difference in file size.

Well, I use FRAPS to record (some say that FRAP is to heavy, but I still use it  ), and for video edit I like to use Sony Vegas.
Vegas is not easy to use, but is very powerful when you master it!!
