I am going to add Google Analytics to my new website to track how many visits I get all of that stuff. However, I am wondering if you guys knew how accurate it really is. I would think it would be pretty good since it is coming from Google right?

Google Analytics is very good at tracking visitors, either fake visitors or real ones.
If you are not using a good AutoSurf (if you are going to use one), then you won't have almost any views.
I use Google, and it get the job done very well!

Yes it is very accurate. And it gives a LOT of info about where your visitors come to your site. What they searched in google to reach your site, how many of them clicked on your site when they saw it on the results after they made the search. And much more, I would say you should visit your analytics twice a month, not per day, because you wont see much difference. And if you compare an entire week with another its easier to figure out what you have to do better to reach more people

Like it has been said, yes it is very accurate! It helps you to know in which websites they come from and if it is worth placing ads on those websites.

Google Analytics is one of the best.. analytics .

You should know that all analytics are not always accurate.. and could be late.

Since their is nothing else to compare with google analytics we must accept what it says.
But with my expericence i would say its perfectly accurate.

Made by Google does not mean that is perfect , but for the Google Analytics - yeah they are accurate.

It is not always accurate but its one of the best, beside it is made by Google..personally i will trust their products

i'm using it and it's very good , you can set alerts you can see all statistiques it's easy too when you lean how to use it .

yes it is very good for tracking the visitors from where they visit your site and which time .. this could b used for your forum and it is doing well

It's accurate but not like 100% accurate... It's still fine.

google analytics is accurate when some one visits your site. its a good practice also using this so will know your visitors.

but be careful there are some people wich can spam and even google analytic would not kbow

If you implement Google Analytics then yes.You'll see where the visitors come from.

I think google anayltics is accurate ,to track some visitors even if you the visitor is fake or real

i believe they are atleast 95% accurate. the remaining 5% is just a room for error
